Our ensemble of performers, writers, directors and designers is the heart behind our theatre company.  We will work on many productions as a collective, to create strong, multi dimensional performances, powered by an artistic creative ensemble.  We have such a strong pool of young talent in Ontario and we are so lucky to have a great number of those perfomers working with us.  Please read on to learn more about the artists that we work with, and our plans for future productions.
JOEL MACMEEKIN-PLAYWRIGHT/ACTOR
Joel is a recently married comedian, musical theatre actor, and playwright  extrodinaire.  He has played such roles as Amos in Chicago, and Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast.  Joel has written five plays to date, and continues to write and adapt his current repetoire of shows. He is also a talented painter!  Joel Wrote and co-directed our production of "Missing in Action".
KRYSTAL SAMPSON- ACTOR
Krystal has been involved in many aspects of theatre since the age of fourteen.  She just recently finished an eastern tour of "Jillian Jiggs and the Pirates", with Touring Players of Canada.  Krystal is a graduate of both the Sheridan Prep Program as well as the three year St. Lawrence College Music Theatre Performance Program.  When Krystal is not performing she enjoys teaching Music Theatre to children in Brampton and Bolton.  Other Credits include "Beauty and the Beast"(Babette), "Chicago"(Liz), and "The Sound of Music"(Liesl).  Krystal is a talented and vibrant performer and we are so excited to have her involved.
KYLE EVANS-ACTOR
Kyle is so thrilled to reunite with his former classmates, and to be a part of this exciting company! Kyle is a graduate of the Music Theatre-Performance program at SLC. While at SLC Kyle was seen in such shows as, A Chorus Line, Beauty and the Beast, 10 Lost Years, and Chicago. Kyle also spent a season with the St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival, and was in their productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream, and, Romeo & Juliet. Film credits include Crash 48, and Stiff Luv (Sally Smucker).
ANDREW GERMAN-ACTOR
Andrew is extremely excited to be a part of this company. Past credits include The Stirling Festival Theatre's production of 'Man of La Mancha', and 'High School Musical 2' in Toronto. A graduate of St. Lawrence College's Musical theatre program, Andrew is currently living in Toronto anticipating a chance to get back on stage and play.
AMANDA STRUTHMANN-ACTOR
Amanda is a graduate of SLC, and is honoured and proud to be a part of this company with all her old classmates! Favourite credits include: Phillipa in "Anne and Gilbert" (Thousand Islands Playhouse & Provincial Tour), Velma in "Chicago" (SLC Stage), Belle in "Beauty and the Beast" (SLC Stage), and Ensemble in "Ten Lost Years".
FORD ROBERTS-ACTOR
Ford is excited and honoured to be a part of IANA, this new canadian theatre company.  Ford loves bringing new, Canadian work to light in what is becoming a dim and difficult arena for making such things happen in this country. He hopes you enjoy the performances and asks that you continue to support Canadian work with your voice and your presence. Ford currently lives in Toronto, misses his cats, and is looking forward to the next great thing that is waiting around the bend. Recent theatrical credits include; A Seaway Story, Cabaret, CATS - the musical,  Office Hour, and most recently, Aladdin, in Oshawa.
HEATHER MASTROMARCO-ACTOR
Heather Mastromarco is from Brighton, Ontario and credits her experiences with great creative people at Spring Valley Public School and East Northumberland Secondary School for inspiring her to pursue her passion for music and theatre.  From a young age, Heather was always creating and performing funny skits and singing with her sisters and has always enjoyed being creative.  She graduated with distinction from the Music Theatre Performance program at St. Lawrence College and some of her theatre credits include; Mrs. Sowerberry in “Oliver”, Mrs. Potts in “Beauty and the Beast” and Matron Morton in “Chicago”.  Heather is very excited to be a part of this company! She can’t wait to work with her great friends and colleagues again.
ANDRE MORIN-ACTOR/COMPOSER
Andre is from a little place called Reid, Ontario. He has been doing theatre for as long as he can remember doing it. (Sometime just before his first show, Once Upon A Mattress, til now).  Andre has always liked everyone to pay attention to him. Please make a note and act accordingly if you ever see him! He is so happy to be working with his friends in this wonderfull company! This past winter he performed in Robin Hood, at the Stirling Festival Theatre.  He is the composer of the upcoming musical 'TWEED'. Thank you to all his loved ones! YAY!
MARK WILLETT- ACTOR
Mark is excited to be working with Iana Theatre and many of his friends. An alumni of St Lawrence College Music Theatre, Mark has appeared in multiple productions with the college including "A Chorus Line", "Ten Lost Years" and "Beauty and the Beast". Outside the college walls, Mark has spent a season with the St Lawrence Shakespeare Festival and has enjoyed many summers at the Stirling Festival Theate. Much thanks to Daddy Willett.

JORDANN ZAZA-MUSICAL DIRECTOR/ PIANIST
Music director for the Randolph Academy of the Performing Arts' Young Company "Footloose", "High School Musical" (North American Premiere) and "The Wiz". Other favourite credits include "West Side Story",Fallen Rock Productions "La Cage Aux Folles" Scarborough Music Theatre and "Jesus Christ Superstar" Stage Blue Productions and "Footloose" with Paradox Performers.  The Toronto FRINGE and Summerworks Festivals. Jordann has taught piano, vocal, choral music and music theory.  She is currently an avid vocal coach, accompanist and pianist. Other Credits: "Robin Hood" with the Stirling Festival Theatre."Jerry Springer, The Opera" (Canadian Premiere) "Schoolhouse Rock Live" and "High School Musical 2" in June 2009 with Silvermist Productions in Niagara Falls. JOCELYN PERRY- ACTOR/STAGE MANAGER/ PROMOTIONS
Jocelyn is a performer, teacher, director and now stage manager who is thrilled to be a part of IANA Theatre Co. Jocelyn is currently completing her Degree in Theatre Performance from University of Toronto and diploma in acting from Sheridan College. Favourite onstage credits include "Anne of Green Gables" (Stirling Festival Theatre),"Taming of the Tamer" (Theatre Erindale), "Oliver!" (SFT) and "The Secret Garden" (SLC Stage). Stage Management: Quinte Ballet School of Canada’s "Spring Showcase", and Erindale Fringe 2008 season. Directing: "You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown"; "Clue-The Musical" (QYAC) and "Therac 25" (Erindale Fringe). A co-founder of the Quinte Youth Actor’s Company.
